Pumpkins on Bale of HayEnjoy your Thanksgiving holiday with your family! {Since we’ll be enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday with our families, we’ll return on Monday, November 26 to finish up on our dating series for the month of November.}

In the meantime, here are some Scriptures that talk about thankfulness. Pick one to memorize and reflect on this holiday season.

I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. – Psalm 108:3-5

Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. – Psalm 105:1

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. – 1 Chronicles 16:34

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. – Psalm 28:7

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. – Psalm 107:8

I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation. – Psalm 118:21

Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. – Ephesians 5:4

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. – Colossians 3:17

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

…Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe. – Hebrews 12:28
