“I took you from the ends of the Earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” - Isaiah 41:9-10

Releasing a deep breath, I sat back with a sigh. I had just pressed the Send button.
I felt like I could see the words of my email flinging, flying into cyberspace, spiraling end after end until they reached their destination—the inbox of the director of an online Christian girls’ ministry.
With shaking fingers, I went about my business for several days, trying to act like I hadn’t just opened myself up to rejection like that.
What if they don’t like it? What if I wrote it all wrong? Could all my dreams go up in smoke?
My dream was to see that little devotional published on the ministry’s site, but I was afraid and filled with what if’s.
When I received a reply, I could hardly believe what I was reading! That little devotional was published on an amazing ministry’s site called Radical Revolution.
Way back when we didn’t yet know Him, love Him, or serve Him, Jesus gave His life for us and called us His own. Despite our sin, He never rejected us, only loved us and redeemed us.
But salvation isn’t the end of your story or mine.
God dreams big and He wants to teach us to do the same. He wants to make the dreams He has put in our hearts, the dreams we’re afraid to dare to dream, come true.
Will you choose to set aside the fear today? He is holding out His hand, inviting you to step into the daring adventure He has planned for you.
Don’t let fear keep you back! He has chosen you, claimed you as His own, and given you a unique purpose to fulfill. So take the next step and the next and go after your dreams, clinging to His hand.
Dear Jesus, I surrender the fear and I grab hold of Your hand. Lead me, Lord. I give You my life and I trust You and Your dreams for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I had a dream come true here recently. Last year I applied to a christian camp called Fort Caswell both my cousins worked and served the Lord there and I wanted to do the same. Last year I went to the interview hoping i would get the job but unfortuntly i didn’t get it. This past january I decided to try again so I went to the interview so nervous and telling myself that if this is God’s plan for me then it will happen. A week later I got an email from Fort Caswell when I opened the email the first word I saw was Congratulations and I started jumping up and down and my mom was making me read the rest of the email. I am so excited to be serving the Lord this summer and can’t wait to see what this summer will hold. I do believe that God has something planned for everyone you just have to listen.
Yay! I love Rachelle’s articles.
She’s a really good friend of mine. Shell, you always inspire me to dream big for God. Thank you for that!
Oh, Julia, thank you!
Oh, Mary Beth, that is a dream come true and very exciting! I hope that you’ll have a great summer. Do share with us your adventures at Fort Caswell! We’d love to hear about it! (Maybe you could even write a devo about it!!)
Great article! Yes, always dare to dream!
Thank you, Sarah!
